Heute war ich in komischer Stimmung. Die Versuchung war groß, das Malen einmal auszulassen. Aber dann habe ich ohne Plan losgelegt. Das Ergebnis finde ich nicht sonderlich schön, aber es tat gut, etwas locker zu werden und meine Stimmung zu vergessen.
Today I was in a funny mood, felt a little blue and uncertain. I almost skipped my painting, but then I just sat down and did let go. I am not liking this painting but the process felt good.
Normalerweise schreibe ich nach dem Foto immer ein paar Anmerkungen oder Kritikpunkte an meine Bilder, aber heute verzichte ich darauf. Und morgen beginnt ein neuer Monat, das heisst für mich auch immer ein neues Zeichenheft. Darauf freue ich mich schon, hoffentlich dann in besserer Stimmung 😉
Normally after I take the photo I am scribbling some notes down to remind myself what I want to do better with the next painting , but today I am skipping that part. It’s a new month tomorrow and for me that means I start a new sketchbook. Looking forward to that – and hopefully a better mood 😉
